Today we bring you a little bit of vintage, two outcomes of London Design Festival: The Rag and the Bone and Delightfull.
The Rag and Bone Man: Pieces of British Industrial History
The Rag and the Bone Man brings “vintage eccentric” to the Design world with pieces made of steel, among other materials. The method he uses to find the material to make them is unique: he searches for remains of vintage engineered machines and outmoded modern metal parts that make up scraps of British industrial history.
Paul Firbank, the designer and maker of The Rag and Bone Man launched is first collection of lighting and furniture at Tent during the London Design Festival 2011. His first show led him over this first year to work with private individuals: interior designer, artists, architects and collectors.
