Because Halloween will end soon and I bet you are already thinking of Christmas (at least I am), I give you some good tips on how to have a low-cost fancy Christmas.
1. Recycle your Bottles
Turn empty bottles (from wine, juice, or beer) into holiday decorations with a little spray paint. Try holiday colors like red, green, or blue, or go fancy with silver or gold metallic paint. You can fill with flowers or branches, or just place a line of bottles on a long table for an elegant display.
Check this video to see how to paint your own bottles.
2. Decorate the door
Make your own holiday wreaths. Go outside and cut almost any type of greenery that you see, bend it into a circle and tie with anything you have, whether fishing string, ribbon or rope. Hang it on your door and add ribbons or ornaments as desired.
See Martha Stewart’s tips on how to make different kind of wreaths here.
3. Paint your glasses
Just get your old glasses and some paint and you can have new ones just for Christmas Eve. You can even write the name of your guests in each glass!

4. Tie a bow
Tie a bow to your pillow and towels. It looks adorable and it doesn’t cost almost anything.

5. Use fresh cranberries branches
Fill 1 or 2 vase with cranberry! It will add a beautiful splash of Christmas red to any room.
